School improvement is dependent upon a clear vision of what schools and communities collectively see for their schools. Many school boards have not received adequate training regarding their role as community leaders for education. LOFT will consult with school board directors in an open, transparent and ongoing relationship to assist them in clarifying their roles, responsibilities and limitations. While doing this we will also assist school board directors in the development of a vision for their system that brings together the community and the school system for the common benefit of the children.
